Pike County has four public schools.

PIKE CENTRAL, houses both Middle, six through eight and High School, nine through twelve. This centrally located school encompasses the students for the whole county.

OTWELL ELEMENTARY, was built as a special concept school for grades K-5.

PETERSBURG ELEMENTARY, This school was built in 1992 to replace the old school that had been destroyed in the tornado of 1990.

WINSLOW ELEMENTARY, was built in 1961 and houses grades K-5.

Pike County also has the presence of Ivy Tech Community.
