Pike County's main resources are their natural resources. With over 7,000 acres of water and a 20 mile section of wetland, Pike County is a sportsman's paradise.

The newest recreational facility in Pike County is the Pride's Creek Golf Course. Located next to Prides Creek Park this 9 hole course shares the lake front with the park.

The northern part of the county offers Prides Creek Park, a beautiful 200 acre park with a 90 acre lake. Along with Bass, Catfish, and Blue Gill fishing, the park also offers tennis and basketball courts, 60 campsites with water and electricity, hot showers, laundry and restrooms on site. They also offer seasonal camping.

Pike County State Forest covers 3,089 acres and offers hunting, fishing, hiking and horse trails. Horse camping and picnic area are available. Located at 5994 E. SR 364, Winslow, IN 47567.  For more information, call (812) 367-1524 or check online at dnr.IN.gov/forestry. 

Hunting, fishing and camping are also available at Sugar Ridge Fish and Wildlife Area located in southern Pike County. Sugar Ridge has over 100 lakes and 8,100 acres filled with wildlife. Fishermen may try their luck with our Bass, Blue Gill, Red Ear, Warmouth, Channel Cat, Rainbow Trout and Crappie.  Hunt deer, upland game, dove, squirrel and wild turkey.
